Assemble four complete king-to-ace runs, each in one suit, right in the piles. There are no foundations: you win when each suit lies whole in a pile of its own.
Seven piles of seven: in the four on the left the bottom three cards are face down, the rest face up; 3 more cards wait face down in the stock. A card may only be placed on the next higher card of its own suit: a ten of spades takes nothing but the nine of spades. In return, any face-up card moves with everything on it, however jumbled: a nine of spades under a queen of hearts and an ace of clubs goes onto the ten of spades as one heap. Nothing goes on an ace, and an empty pile takes only a king, with all it carries. A face-down card turns over by itself once it is on top.
nuances
The stock can be dealt at any moment, even over an empty pile, but only once. A finished run stays in its pile; if face-down cards lie under it, a king can carry it off to an empty pile.
tactics
Do not hurry with the stock: by tradition it is dealt only when no move is left, as its three cards land right above the face-down ones.
