goal & play
goal
Assemble eight complete king-to-ace runs, each in a single suit. The 104 cards come in only two suits, 52 spades and 52 hearts.
Ten piles: six cards in each of the four on the left, five in the rest, with only the top card showing; 50 more sit in the stock. A card goes on any card one rank higher, whatever the suit: a nine of hearts fits a ten of spades. Several cards move together only as a one-suit descending ladder, or the top part of one, and with two suits you see it at a glance — a black or a red ladder moves, a mixed one stays put. An empty pile accepts any card or any such ladder. A face-down card turns over once it is on top. A finished one-suit run from king to ace goes to a foundation whole in one move, or by itself with the auto-drop from the game menu.
nuances
The stock is good for exactly 5 deals, and none is allowed while a pile stands empty. A foundation never gives its cards back.
tactics
When you can choose where a card goes, pick the higher card of its own suit — red on red, black on black: that joint will later move with the rest. Undo mixed joints as soon as a pile empties.
