goal

Dismantle the 28-card pyramid. What is left in the stock and the waste does not matter — the game is won the moment the pyramid is empty.

The top card of the stock plays straight from the stock: it pairs there, without landing in the waste first. A pair is two cards adding up to 13: ace (1) with queen (12), 2 with jack (11), 3 with 10, 4 with 9, 5 with 8, 6 with 7. Only a card nothing covers is available: at the start, the bottom row. The top of the waste plays the same way, and those two pair with each other: a queen on the stock takes an ace off the pyramid or the waste. A king needs no partner — the helper takes it from anywhere once it is free, and an empty waste draws from the stock by itself. Tapping a card highlights its partners, tapping one removes the pair.

nuances

The stock can be gone through three times only, so a card you can take now has nowhere to wait. Both helpers — the draw and the king removal — can be switched off in the game menu.

tactics

Keep the top of the stock as a working card rather than a queue: look for its partner in the pyramid before dealing the next one.
